Artist's Comments
This was a Graphics Workshop project.
I had to research a designer or design firm and create postcards that resemble their style of work. These postcards were inspired by Aesthetic Apparatus. [link] The old time imagery comes from a brush set called Darger esque. [link] Other elements were created in media studies. The phrases on the front of the postcards are to have good designer type advice or some type of advice that somewhat makes fun of the phrase. |
